Redondo Beach Pier Chalk Art Festival

Help transform the Redondo Pier into a beautiful concrete canvas over the water. Dozens of children and a few quirky adults paint the pier with dazzling chalk designs in mid-August each year at the Redondo Beach Chalk Art Festival.   Art, music and fun for the entire family!  This all-ages annual event is free and open to the public.  Free chalk will be given to the first 150 pre-registrants. Artists of all ages and levels are invited to take part in this popular annual event on The Pier. This event is open to public viewing so even if you don’t plan to participate, take a stroll along the pier and see for yourself what these amazing artists can create with a slab of concrete and a little chalk!
